Wolves and Freeways

I had a sort of dream that I was with Jesus, being carried in his arms. A group of wolves came around us, crowding in. They were growling and pushing against Jesus. But because I was in His arms, they simply couldn’t get to me.

Jesus continued walking and carrying me. We came to the freeway. Without hesitation He walked directly into the freeway and sat down in the middle, cradling me on His lap. And while cars whizzed by on both sides, nothing hit us, because I was safe, because He was holding me. So even though I was literally sitting in the middle of a busy road, I was as safe as anywhere in the world – because He was holding me.

Scriptures: John 10:12-15, Psalm 23:4, Deuteronomy 33:27a, 2 Samuel 22:3.
